Many people go to famous places or favorite places of attraction in Kumamoto. There are many ]famous spas, beautiful night view places, Kumamoto castle, Kumamoto zoo and so on. Such attractions are because we can know each place’s characteristics what the famous attractions have are. What are attraction’s characteristics and good points ? Why are the places famous and popular?
To answer these questions, I will ask my friends and people, give a question near is some people in Kumamoto and Auckland where to do people go in Auckland? What are many good points? Do people goes to the same places in Kumamoto? Have the attractions special characteristics depending on the place?
Kumamoto’s main attractions are Kumamoto castle, Aso, Kurokawa spa, Mitsui green land, Kumamoto zoo and so on. The Kumamoto castle was built about 400 years ago, and is a very historical castle. One special characteristic is “Ishigaki”. It is curved so that the enemy can’t come in the castle, named “Samurai returned”. There are also many other very famous places and popular places in Kumamoto, but people come to Kumamoto, they always come to see Kumamoto castle. It is popular tourists. There are a lot of traditional Japanese style buildings in among castle. In spring, there are a lot of cherry blossoms, so people come to see it at there.
Aso is also a popular place in Kumamoto. There is a lot of farms and Aso mountains. We can see a lot of cattle and houses. Aso mountain is an active volcano. It’s always smoky, and mountain’s caldera is biggest in the world. There are a lot of people who come for hiking and sightseeing. When the volcanic is less active, we can visit the crater but when the volcanic activity is active and poisonous gas occurs the is closed.
Japanese people like spas, so Kurokawa spa is popular in Kumamoto. Kurokawa spa has many very good open-air bathes and a country atmosphere. The spa has many good ingredients for our body. If we take a spa bath there, we get very good skin. We can have a good time there.
Mitsui green land is an amusement park in Kumamoto. There are a lot of rides and play equipment. There are 89 rides altogether. There is ferris wheel biggest all over the world. The height is 105 m. Sometimes animated character shows come there with children. The Kumamoto zoo is standard place, always crowded with families and couples. As we see, another Kumamoto’s attractions are very natural, historical and family oriented.
Auckland’s attractions include Skytower, Mission Bay, Aquarium, Zoo and so on. The Sky tower is the symbol of Auckland. The height is 325 m. We can do to sky jump (bungee jump) from 192m. We fall at about 85 km an hour. The cost is $40 but we can make a good memory in Auckland. We can see very beautiful view. There are guides and tours. We can see historical settled place of Maori at Auckland museum. There is a gift shop on the Ground floor. We can buy souvenirs for ours family and friends. There are restaurants and an observatory in this tower’s high places.
The Kelly Tarllton’s is aquarium in Auckland. There are a lot of kinds of rare fish. We can enjoy seeing rare fish and we can learn about them. The theme park aquarium is set up as the South Pole exploration world. The South Pole exploration world includes a reconstructed hut of the Scotfish expedition, exploration experience on a snowmobile, inspection of penguins in sub-zero weather and so on. We can seeing a penguin where outside to thought a window. The aquarium is underground so we can see fishes at the water tunnel. The length is about 120m. If it escapes from an underground tunnel, souvenir Shop is in before an exit. We can buy souvenirs
Auckland Zoo has New Zealand's largest greatest zoo in domestic. There are number of few animals who KIWI, TUATARA of the reptiles called survival of a dinosaur, elephant, lion and so on. The large area of each animal was taken compared with the zoo in Japan. The animals not looks like cramp. There is Japanese garden inside the garden.
New Zealand has a lot of beaches so people often go to the beach. According to my survey, a lot of Auckland’s people go to Mission Bay. Mission Bay is a suburb of Auckland city, in the North Island. Mission Bay takes its name from Malanesion Mission, which was based in the bay. Present-day Mission Bay is built upon three parcels of land comprising part of the kahimarama block that where bought from still stand in the reserve, on area of parkland adjacent to the beach. When they go to the Mission Bay, they enjoy running or walking. Kumamoto has beaches too, but most people often don’t go there, because they are very far from the center of the city.
Compared to Kumamoto, Auckland’s attractions are very active and exciting so people can spend enjoy each weekend. Auckland’s attraction are also closed then most of Kumamoto’s attractions so, people can go there easily . The zoo is also different compared with Kumamoto’s zoo. Auckland’s zoo has a lot of rare animals and is very large. Auckland has many spas but Auckland’s people don’t go to a spa as often as Japanese people. Auckland has a lot of farms like Aso, but people don’t go to there to sightseeing. It’s different in Japan. Because, Auckland’s farm don’t have nice places to enjoy attractions. Kumamoto’s farm has nice places to enjoy attractions. The Auckland’s Skytower is so nice. Kumamoto has no tower, Kumamoto’s attractions good points an that we can know history and feel relaxed. Auckland’s attractions good points are that we can play excitingly and enjoy.
According to this research attraction, we see that attractions are different according to each place’s characteristic. With further research of other country’s attractions, we can continue to develop this concept.
